Preparing your property for the spring market

By Shaye Williams

Follow these handy tips to ensure your property is ready for the spring market!

  1. Decluttering your Property is Paramount
We all hear the word “declutter” and shudder a little. With decluttering comes space, allowing the potential buyers to see the potential of your property.
  2. Clean and tidy
Be sure to give your property a good wash, vacuum and general clean up. A tidy home has greater appeal to its viewers.
  3. Outdoor Space
The forgotten hero – with successful gardening and staging, these spaces become added rooms, conversation areas and relaxation zones.
  4. Depersonalising
Ensure you remove personal items such as photos. We want potential buyers to be able to envision themselves living in your home.
  5. Let the light in!
Open your blinds, turn on the lights and light the candles. Let your property give a warm hug to its potential new owner!
